I have been asked so often when I would offer a face course in my self study options and today I launch a delightful lesson on how to use a dark to light technique paired with a simple sketch approach.

This class has 10 videos to view and download for a year from July 28th, 2020. There is a PDF with step by step instruction and explanations about supplies as well. Painting dark to light is a strategy many artists have embraced over the centuries and I am offering a simple approach to painting a loose, expressive portrait inspired by Friday Khalo.

The supplies for the course are basic and you can message me if you need to know them ahead of purchase. You can use craft paints, house paints, or professional acrylics and you dont need to know how to draw to take this course successfully. In fact, it is designed for all levels of learners.

One of the things I am passionate about is offering creative thinking strategies for my students so that you can learn this technique but also how to question making it your own. The skills learned in these self study courses are designed to cross over to any subject matter you choose.

Entire course is $62.00

Everyone who purchases by July 31st, 2020 will get in the pot to win this original painting as well!

Once delivered, no refunds accepted.

If you are looking to learn and resell, please keep these notes in mind:

I do retain copyright to my original image and I do offer you permission to recreate it, share it publicly, but not sell it, by taking this course. If you alter the lesson and make it your own, you then gain full copyright on the image you create and it is yours.  If you have any questions at all about this, just shoot me an email.

If you are interested in learning to paint Mixed Media Florals, here is the link to that self-study course as well!
